Ever heard of the saying, 'If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all"? Defamation is an act of cowards, liars and punks that promotes envy and malicious behavior. As for Manny Pacquiao's defamation suit filed against Floyd Mayweather, Oscar Dela Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions at the height of their blood test demands and accusations against Pacquiao, U.S. District Judge Larry Hicks believes that the pound for pound boxing king has grounds to pursue his lawsuit.
The judge rejected Mayweather Promotions LLC attorney, Mark Tratos' filed motion to dismiss the case according to a report by Forbes.com. "Moving defendants argue that Pacquiao has failed to sufficiently allege malice because moving defendants could not have known one way or the other whether Pacquiao had actually taken PEDs when they made the alleged defamatory statements," the order reads. "However, the court finds that Pacquiao has sufficiently pled malice in the amended complaint." Therefore, the case continues. Read Full Story
